TASTING NOTES: dark ruby red in colour, verging on garnet, with visible thickness, it shows a broad bouquet that from flowery notes of violet and dried flowers evolves into plum jam, blackberry, current and blueberry, spicy hints of black pepper, then boisé and pipe tobacco, humus and leather, liquorice and graphite. Elegant and fine, warm, full, with silky tannins that anticipate the increasing power of this wine.
Good balance between freshness and full-flavour, it already expresses a nice harmony and enhanced distinctive features.
FOOD PAIRINGS: pappardelle with duck sauce, braised veal cheek, loin of wild boar with juniper berries, game with black truffle, tenderloin with pepper, ripe sheep milk cheese.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C
